Bishop's School Photography Club encourages students to learn about and enjoy photography. It involves students who have interest in digital photography and an appreciation for what photography can say. The club was inaugurated on 29 July 2019. The members of the club gather every first Tuesday of the month at 4 pin in the Activity Lab.

The Club seeks to support, encourage and inspire individuals to use photography as a medium to creatively express themselves through the lens of a camera.

ACTIVITIES DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020
Workshop on Photography:
The Club organized a workshop on photography in the school of premises on July 12, 2019. In this workshop, the members acquired a basic understanding of a digital camera features and handling. They got to familiarise with the different camera modes and how each setting is chosen to create an intend d effect. The student took active participation in the same and they took photographs representing several themes.
Digital Coverage of the Plantation Drive:
With the vision to make the world more beautiful through the eyes of camera, the club collaborated with the school's eco-club and participated in Plantation Drive held on January 24, 2020 and clicked the images of planting trees in the school premises. This allowed the students to discover, develop and express their creativity.
Photo Exhibition
On February 12, 2020, the photography-club organised an exhibition displaying photographs, taken by students of Grades V and VI during the Pongal Day celebrations held in the school premises on Jan 12.
