ABOUT OUR CURRICULUM

In consonance with the vision of CBSE, we, at Bishop Devadass Ambrose Vidyalaya, have designed our curriculum in such a way that integrates both curricular and c-curricular aspects and helps children attain the much-needed holistic growth.

NO HOMEWORK POLICY

"NO HOMEWORK POLICY" has been followed in our school for classes I and II. Students learn the concepts of the subject through various activities inside and outside the classroom. Learning is ensured to take place within the classroom with the help of worksheets, flashcards, quiz and group study.

KG TO GR. II

Pre-primary education is vital for children to develop a lifelong love for learning. It also ensures a smooth transition to primary education and the other stages of growth. To facilitate de-stress, we introduce Private Publishers Textbooks that offers a balanced development in five key domains -physical, cognitive, emotional, social and linguistic. Kids acquire knowledge when they enjoy self learning. Self-learning helps learners become independent and develop critical- thinking skills.

GRADE III ONWARDS:

Bishop's School follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. We follow NCERT textbooks from Gr. 3 onwards, emphasizing on the all-round development of students, inculcating the values, attitudes and skills required for living in harmony with oneself and with others.
